SANNYASA

Today we watched a video about Sannyasa, what it is about, the rituals that have to be performed and what the individual has to do. I thought it was very interesting that people will want to abandon everything they have for a life of non-existence. The one about the judge was impressive because i do not think that with today's economical hard times, anyone in America/India will want to abandon a job as such for Sannyasa calling. I also found interesting how the women were freely expressing their opinions about the situation because it is contrary to what most people believe that Indian women are submissive to their husbands.
I just have 2 questions
  1. During the Sannyasa ritual, they did mention something about 16 worlds. I just wanted to ask if this is what Krishna was talking about when he said "They dwell there for a countless years and then are reborn" (Pg. 38)
  2. Can anyone tell if they are being reborn or do they just know because that is what they are told?
I also found this pictures and i thought they were cool.

So I have always wondered why most of the Hindhu gods have many arms and why others are 4 and others 6. I did some research online and found many different theories to why they have many hands. Some say that it is because to show how different they are physically to humans. What i found strange was that the difference in the number of hands is as a result of superiority. That some gods are superior over others. This is strange to me because i thought Hinduism accepts all other religions to be equal and why then label the superiority of the gods?

And also, is it because of the belief of reincarnation that Hindhu's tend to worship children born with what the western world will consider deformities (Two heads, unusuall number of hands etc.)? for example this Baby Born with two faces
